No. Turn Wireless does not offer satellite internet services. Our services are wireless but rather than broadcasting from a satellite, we have our own broadcast points throughout our service areas. This allows us more reliable service with greater flexibility.

The reason many businesses can not get proper DSL service is because they are to far away from the phone company CO (central office). DSL connectivity and speed is based on distance from the central office and gets worse the further away you are. Turn Wireless services do not utilize the phone company and therefore is not subject to the distance limitation of DSL. This allows us to service customers in areas that DSL just can't reach, in addition to providing higher speeds with reliable connectivity.
Turn Wireless offers what is called a Service Level Agreement (SLA). This SLA is used to ensure fairness and service levels to all our customers with 24 x 7 monitoring and customer service. This agreement allows customers to have peace of mind in knowing that we pride ourselves on guaranteed uptime, availability and problem resolution. No. You are not required to use a router or modem and in fact if you like, could just plug our connection directly into you computer or laptop. This being the case however, we do recommend some type of firewall for security or switch for multiple users access.
If you move anytime during your term agreement we will move your service to the new location free of charge if you choose to renew the term. If you choose not to renew the term then a simple one-time installation fee will be charged with no adjustment to the term agreement. If you move outside of our service area then you are simply responsible for one last month of service and we are sorry to see you leave.
No. If you are currently using a email provider you do not need to change anything. For those customers with their own email servers, instructions will be give for reverse DNS requests upon service sign up.
